I'm Deepika, the artist behind Deepu Art Gallery. Working from my studio in Houston, Texas, I create original paintings that blend traditional Indian motifs with contemporary palettes and textures.
Each piece begins with an idea and evolves through layers of acrylic, texture paste, metallic finishes and sometimes gold leaf — building depth that photographs can only hint at. I love creating work that draws you in closer, that changes with the light, that feels alive on your wall.
